Hi my name is Steve, I specialise in drawing caricatures from your photos. On leaving school I studied cartoon & illustration at the Morris school of Journalism. I have been drawing caricatures and cartoons for over 20 years now. I offer a friendly professional service at a price to suit everyone. My aim is to create for you a wonderful caricature from your photos that will draw a smile from everyones face.
I create my caricatures using two methods as seen below.
TRA-DIGITAL CARICATURE:
Tra-digital- Is a method I have created using both traditional and digital methods together. Firstly I hand drawn a sketch onto paper, I then transfer the work to a digital tablet to colour the hair and clothing. Once this is done it is printed onto either A4 or A3 160gms premium paper. I will then colour the skin tones using coloured pencils and traditional methods. As seen with the Keith Lemon cariacture to the left ooooooooooooooooooosh!
DIGITAL CARICATURE:
As with the tra- digital work I hand drawn a sketch onto paper then transfer it to a digital tablet. I then colour the entire work using a digital tablet and then print onto A3 or A4 200gms premium glossed paper. This work gives a more polished finish compared to the tra-digital work. As shown by the David Camaron caricature to the left.
